We can often repair broken dentures on the same day. Repairs may be needed when your dentures have been damaged or chipped, when one or more teeth need to be added to an existing denture, or because of wear and tear. In many cases, we can restore an existing broken or cracked denture to its original state. Your denturist, Christina Mallet DD, will examine your teeth and dentures and advise you on what type of repair is required and any alternatives.

Complex Denture Repairs
These denture repairs can take anywhere from several hours to several days to repair. Book an appointment quickly so repairs can begin as soon as possible.
Broken, worn or ill-fitting dentures don’t always need to be replaced. Your denturist can quickly assess if you are a candidate for a rebase, reline or repair.
Denture Rebase:
A denture rebase is usually done when the denture teeth have not worn out in comparison to the denture base material. This provides a stable denture without replacing the denture teeth.
Denture Reline:
A denture reline consists of adding new base material to the tissue side of a denture so it fits properly. Relining affects only the fit of your denture and will not change the appearance.
